QA Automation Engineer

A Portfolio Order Management System (POMS) is a software platform used by asset managers and traders to manage the entire lifecycle of investment orders and portfolios. It facilitates the efficient execution, tracking, and reporting of trades and positions in financial markets. In this role, you'll work on a fast-evolving project alongside strong developers and QA engineers, tackling complex technical and business challenges together. We are looking for a QA engineer who is passionate about automation and product quality, thinks like a developer when designing automated checks, test frameworks, and diagnostics, while keeping a strong QA mindset, enjoys working with complex backend systems and data flows, approaches testing as an engineering discipline, writing code to verify complex business and technical behavior, and wants to grow in automation, system-level testing, and architecture understanding. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated tests in Java, designing new test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, performing functional, regression, and integration testing, investigating discrepancies uncovered during regression testing, supporting and maintaining testing environments, and collaborating with stakeholders, developers, business analysts, fellow QA engineers, and support teams. Requirements include experience in backend test automation with Java (5+ years), hands-on experience with UI test automation, SQL knowledge, experience in reading and analyzing logs, and a solid understanding of the SDLC and testing processes.
